Design Internship at Yidian Wangju Technology
During the spring/summer of 2023, I interned at the Design Research Department of Yidian Wangju Technology in Beijing, China. I joined the team focusing on global businesses and design solutions integrating AI technology. This experience not only gave me hands-on experience in user experience, visual design, and product management but also led me to follow the newest technologies that can be used in design work.
Responsibilities:
1. Supported user research and testing.
2. Utilized Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and other cutting-edge generative AI models to produce high-quality images that assisted in design work.
3. Analyzed clients' needs and recommended AI integration for optimized design outcomes.
4. Coordinated with various departments, such as algorithm development, marketing, and UI design. Gained valuable expertise in effective cross-functional communication and project management.

The Social App: a product developed by the company's subsidiary which has over 5 million downloads on Google Play
The Banking Product: an application of a Hong Kong bank which needed an AI-integrated design solution to help with visual design elements.
SaaS: a tool for business users within the company to generate and manage images using AI. The goal of this tool is to help employees with little knowledge of AI through a simpler interface while keeping the balance of being able to adjust different parameters. It is based on Stable Diffusion with the server established by the company to protect the company's data.
